Member of the academic staff of the Jean Monnet Chair, coordinated by Prof Roberto Cippitani, University of Perugia, in collaboration with the research group led by Valentina Colcelli at CNR - IFAC. Project entitled "5th*Freedom" - Freedom of Research as EU Fifth Freedom; 2021-2022

Project Manager 

PhD in Sociology, she received her degree in Foreign Languages at the University of Genova, Italy, and continued her studies and researchers towards linguistics and English-German-French translations. In 1996 she began an internship at the University of Vienna, thanks to a funding coming from the Austrian Research Ministry. After spending a period working by a private company, since 1998 she has been working at a public university.

She is expert evaluator for research and cooperation project proposals for different Agencies within the European Commission. 

Now she is coordinating the EU funded projects RISEWISE, Women with disabilities In Social Engagement, SPECIAL and JAM. 4,5 years-long research and innovation projects about women and disability, started in 2016.

She is the drafter and participant of two H2020 projects on gender: MILIEU and GENDEREX. 

In July 2018 another of her projects has been funded: it is the EACEA project GENDER REMEMBRANCE, Women, totalitarismo and shaping our common Europe, begun in October 2018 and involving Portugal and Bulgaria.

 

She is a free-lance researcher and has edited and published several publications in the field of Political Science and Sociology, History, Germanistics and Jewish population and is publishing again.

She is peer reviewer for international journals. 

Since 2002 she is Project Manager and has been involved in over 50 projects funded by EU during last 12 years (from FP5 to H2020 and other funding agencies), writing project proposals, coordinating projects, supporting proposal preparation and partners search, managing project’s EU audits and IPR issues.

 

She performs courses and seminars related to project design and planning.
